Total Solar Eclipse today. When the moon passes between the Earth and the Sun, we get a beautiful phenomenon known as a Solar Eclipse.
Today, those who are located around the Arctic Ocean, Greenland, Western Iceland, the Atlantic Ocean, Northern Spain and a small corner of Portugal will be treated to the full total solar eclipse.
The rest of us in North America, Europe and NorthWestern Africa will only get to see a partial eclipse today.
Day – Wednesday lends it’s energies to arts and communications, issues involving contracts, accounting, education, issues involving family members and new hires.
Zodiac – The moon starts out in Leo today. The moon in Leo lends energies to efforts regarding authority, power over others, courage, fertility or childbirth.
At 1:37pm Eastern Time, the moon moves out of Leo and goes Void of Course. When the moon is void of course, you may wish to refrain from working any magic as the energies will be void, so you may not see the effect you intended.
Moon – The moon is New (Dark) today at 1:37pm Eastern Time. New Moon Energy signifies new beginnings, fresh starts and planting seeds for the future, acting as a powerful time for setting intentions, cleansing and initiating new projects. The New/Dark moon is a fantastic time to do scrying, ancestor/spirit work and divination as the veil between this world and the next has thinned out. Get your pendulum, your tarot, oracle or runes, grab the black scrying mirror or crystal ball. (I would personally recommend against owning let alone using a ouija board but you do you, boo boo.)
So today – Combine the new moon with Wednesday and Leo this morning and early afternoon to focus on setting your intentions and planting the seeds that will grow into strong communication, strong contracts, courage and authority in this next lunar cycle.
After the moon moves out of Leo and goes Void of Course, take time to rest, recharge and reflect.
