Day – Friday lends energies to efforts around Romance, love, friendship, dating, pleasure, partners, unions and fertility.
Zodiac – Today the moon is in Scorpio all day. The Moon in Scorpio lends energies to sexual matters, power, psychic growth, secrets and fundamental transformations.
Moon – Today, the moon reaches First Quarter phase at 8:42am EDT. This is the half way point between the New moon and the Full moon. As it is still a Waxing moon, it’s great energy to draw in, manifest, grow, increase and attract things.
Lughnasadh (aka Lammas) marks the beginning of the Harvest Season. Traditionally held on August 1st or about half way between the summer solstice and autumn equinox. This is one of four Gaelic seasonal festivals. Named in honor of the god Lugh, this festival usually involved great gatherings that included ceremonies, athletic contests, feasting, matchmaking and trading.
Lughnasadh continues to be observed by practitioners of many different nature-based spiritual traditions. It is a time to celebrate the abundance of the harvest, express gratitude for the gifts of the land, and honor the cycles of nature and the changing seasons.
So today – With the waxing moon in play, Scorpio and Friday both want you to lean into efforts that will help you manifest, draw in, and attract love, pleasure, power, psychic growth and fertility.
