While I’m a member of the Crossroads Witchcraft Tradition based out of Norwich, Connecticut, I’ve beaten a solitary, eclectic path for myself that is very personal to me.

I’ve known since I was a child, a mere 5 years old, that I was different. I leaned into that, hard. The first time I said it, I don’t think I truly knew what I was saying, but, at 5 years old, sitting in the livingroom of my great grandmother’s house, shuffling my grandmothers Thoth tarot deck, with my mother and aunt looking on, I announced to my grandfather proudly “Poppy, I’m a witch!” As a proud Oklahoma Methodist Christian, you can imagine he was fit to be tied.

I could point to any number of trivial facts that could have molded me… like my native american ancestry, to the things and people I was exposed to growing up, to the movies I watched… But the bottom line is, I just am a Witch, I know it, its as true as the sky being blue or grass being green. I am just because I am. I was in all my past lives, and each time I come back, I will be a witch.

At first, I meant this to be a paid class, virtual, but still communal in a way, but to be honest, I have so much I’m juggling and really don’t have the energy all that would require. So instead, this free to use and access blog will be your teacher, and I will not be far if you need me.

If you love structure and being told exactly how to do something and following an outline to the T, then you’re probably good at learning from books and don’t really need much help or guidance. In my mind this means you have a very good intuition or “gut” understanding of things – which is a good thing to have.

But maybe you like to color outside the lines a little, and while you still have a great intuition or “gut” understanding of things, you like more freedom to experiment in your practice and really figure out where your strengths are and how to magnify them – THIS is the path I chose.

While I cant show you where your path starts, or teach you how to beat that path or point you in which direction you should start, move or grow, I do feel very confident in the ability to share with you the basics as I know, understand and interpret them, as well as offering mentorship and guidance as needed.

I look forward to sharing what I know and helping you learn how to grow into your abilities and map out your own magickal path.
