Aquarius to Pisces
“Ring of Fire” Solar Eclipse
Combining the lessons in my Moon Magic course and The Moon and the Zodiac course, we are able to identify the best, strongest and most potent days to work magick to help bring us closer to our goals, protect us, or help rid things that no longer serve our highest purpose.
So – With the knowledge of those courses within us – here’s how today’s energies align… May you find a way to work with today’s energies to help you get closer to your goal, achieve what you desire, protect yourself or rid things that no longer align with you.
Annular Solar Eclispe – “Ring of Fire” at 7:11am Eastern Time – This occurs when the Moon is too far from Earth to completely cover the Sun, leaving a thin, brilliant ring of sunlight visible around the Moon’s edge.
The Path of Visibility: is limited – this is a “remote” eclipse so the path of annularity (where you can see the ring) is almost entirely over Antarctica and the Southern Ocean.
Partial Views: in the southern tip of South America (Chile and Argentina) and Southern Africa (South Africa, Namibia, Zimbabwe).
Duration: At it’s peak, the “ring” phase will last about 2 minutes and 20 seconds.
Eclipse Energies today: The eclipse is happening in the sign of Aquarius and is an annular eclipse (the light is dimmed but not extinguished) the energy is often described as a subtle but firm redirection.
1) Innovation and “The Big Picture”
Aquarius is the isgn of the visionary and the collective. This eclipse may bring a “flash of insight” regarding how you fit into your community or a larger cause. It’s an energetic “Green Light” for unconventional ideas or technological pivots.
2) Structural Tension
Because the eclipse belongs to Saros Cycle 121, it carries a theme of “reorganization”. You might feel a tension between old ways of doing things and a necessary new direction. It’s less about a sudden crash and more about realizing that an old system has finally reached its limit.
3) Emotional Detachment for Clarity
Aquarian energy can feel a bit “cool” or detached. This can actually be helpful during an eclipse – it allows you to look at your life’s path with a level head rather than getting swept up in the usual eclipse drama.
4) The “Fire Horse” Influence
2026 is the year of the Fire Horse. This eclipse, occuring early in the year, acts as a catalyst for that restless, independent, and rebellious spirit. It’s a day for choosing freedom over “the way it’s always been”.
Day – Tuesday lends its energies to efforts of a physical nature like getting in shape or increasing physical endurance.
Zodiac – The moon starts out in Aquarius today. The moon in Aquarius lends energies to things involving with Science, freedom, creative expression, problem solving, extrasensory abilities, friendship and the breaking of bad habits or unhealthy addictions.
At 7:01am Eastern time, the moon moves out of Aquarius and goes Void of Course.
At 9:09am Eastern Time, the moon moves into Pisces. The moon in Pisces lends energies towards efforts involving sexual matters, power, psychic growth, secrets and fundamental transformations
Moon – The moon is New (Dark) today at 7:01am Eastern Time. New Moon Energy signifies new beginnings, fresh starts and planting seeds for the future, acting as a powerful time for setting intentions, cleansing and initiating new projects.
The New/Dark moon is a fantastic time to do scrying, ancestor/spirit work and divination as the veil between this world and the next has thinned out. Get your pendulum, your tarot, oracle or runes, grab the black scrying mirror or crystal ball. (I would personally recommend against owning let alone using a ouija board but you do you, boo boo.)
So today – I wanna call out the most important information here – I know this is a lot.
*The moon goes fully dark/New at 7:01am.
*The moon also leaves Aquarius and goes Void of Course at 7:01am. So we have a new/dark moon that is void of course.
*Then, 10 minutes later, that annular eclipse happens.
What I would advise this morning is to just take note of how you feel, notice if things feel or look different.
At 9: 09am Eastern, the moon moves into Pisces. Combine the new/dark moon with Pisces to focus on your psychic growth. You can include Tuesday’s energies as well to focus on improving your physical health, specifically, sexual matters.
