Combining the lessons in my Moon Magic course and The Moon and the Zodiac course, we are able to identify the best, strongest and most potent days to work magick to help bring us closer to our goals, protect us, or help rid things that no longer serve our highest purpose.
So – With the knowledge of those courses within us – here’s how today’s energies align… May you find a way to work with today’s energies to help you get closer to your goal, achieve what you desire, protect yourself or rid things that no longer align with you.
Day – Sunday lends energies to efforts focused on goals, wellness, merriment, personal finances, career advancement, produce or crops, legal matters, “guy stuff”, and business/professional partnerships.
Zodiac – The moon in Capricorn lends energies to efforts around organization, ambition, recognition, career and political matters.
Moon – The moon is in the Waxing Crescent phase now which lends energies towards drawing in, manifesting, luck, growth, increasing and attracting things we desire.
Yule (Winter Solstice) – Yule is an ancient pagan and Germanic winter festival that celebrates the winter solstice, marking the shortest day and longest night of the year. It symbolizes the rebirth of the sun and the return of light. Traditions include burning a Yule log, decorating with evergreens and feasting.
Many modern pagans and witches use Yule as a time for spiritual reflection and to set intentions for the coming year.
So today – Time for a rebirth in your career. We have the Waxing Crescent, in Capricorn on a Sunday on the Winter Solstice. Switch to Phoenix mode and rise again from the ashes.
Take a look at your professional life – where in this area could you grow more? What could you change in order to see different results?
What you can do – I really want to lean into this Phoenix energy – write down all the things you do now in your professional life – all the practices and habits that may not have been serving you well. Perhaps old beliefs that no longer hold true or benefit your work.
We are going to fold that paper in half – away from you. Fold it again in half, away from you. And one more time. Now hold it over a candle flame (make sure you have a fire proof/safe bowl, fill it with sand or salt, crack a window or turn on the vent above your stovetop) and place the burning paper into the bowl. Let it burn, watch it turn to ash. We are metaphorically sacrificing that which isn’t benefiting us, to make room for the new habits, beliefs and practices that will be part of our rebirth.
REMEMBER to be crystal clear with your intentions and super mindful of the words you use. Words are powerful. As a Fire Sign, I feel obligated to remind you to practice fire safety at all times! We want to create magic, not burn the place down.
